…but when the heck am I going to get my acceptance letter from Nankai? I know I’ve been accepted, but the letter from the school still hasn’t arrived. This is a problem for two reasons: 1.) I can’t get a student visa without the acceptance letter, and 2.) I don’t know who to talk to to figure out where we’ll be living until I get the acceptance letter.

Okay…I’ll admit it…it’s impatience. It’s getting down to the wire now, and I’m really starting to get nervous that it’s not going to arrive in time for me to get my visa before we leave Kansas (on August 7).  Not that that would be a total disaster, but it sure would be a relief to have everything settled before we get on the plane to go to Seattle in a couple weeks.

This is the point where I’m telling myself, “Breathe, Erin…it’s all gonna work out.”
